- Ample space for guest count
- Good flow for table arrangement and crowd movement (people often arrive in groups)
- Variety of interaction areas (smaller intimate areas, larger group conversation areas)
- Adequate and clean restrooms
- If buffet dining, separate yet readily accessible area for food
- Full bar, if desired
- Dance floor and space for music equipment and performance
- Parking for guests
